Adam Svider and Daniel Kolek planned to descend on skis and splitboard down the northern wall of Lenin Peak (7133 metres), located in the borderland between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. Unfortunately, due to adverse weather conditions (fog, frost, strong wind and continuous risk of avalanches) they failed to climb the peak. However, undeterred Czechs didn’t give up and ran down from the Razdelnaya Peak (6200 metres) where they set up the C3 camp to camp C1 at a height of 4200 metres. They both emphasized that Nobile equipment (Nobile Husky skis and Nobile 2018 N6 Aeron) proved perfectly well – 150 per cent! Daniel and Adam already think about the next expedition, this time to climb and run down Denali, formerly known as Mount McKinley (6190 metres) – the highest peak in North America, located in Alaska.
