Over 100 designs were created in the Tribe and Futurism lines Before the designers of Saatchi & Saatchi IS created the Nobile Tribe&Futurism collection, there was an interesting debate, not so much on current graphic trends, but rather its cohesion, and the message and philosophy of sports, such as kiteboarding.

After long discussions with surfers and water sports enthusiasts we have come to the conclusion that there’s no single universal value. There’s the mood – climate, atmosphere and nature – which is very hard to seize and describe with a single word. Communing with people, energizing each other and experiencing the world, as well as pure, unbridled fascination with movement and dynamics – these features are equally important for surfers. That’s why the work on the new lines began in two different ways. On the one hand, we began creating a story about community and building a bond on the basis of collective experiences – that’s how the Tribe line was born. On the other hand, we initiated a quest for the essence of movement, speed, fascination for migration – that’s how the Futurism line came into being. The work on each collection lasted for about six months. Within the Tribe line there were 46 graphic designs, while in the Futurism line – over 60!

From this whole range of work, we’ve selected 16 designs which finally constituted the 2018 collection. Projects were designed by well-known and valued specialists from different graphic fields – both vector illustrating and CI (Ewelina Gąska), as well as very talented branding and engineering graphic designers (Aleksander Bieroński, Artur Herc). Marek Składzień, typographer, digital graphic designer and graffiti artist also made an inestimable contribution to the design. The whole project was lead by Design Head – Rafał Nagiecki. The collection, being the crown of the whole process, tells the story of two polar opposites of one passion. Each of them is unique and adheres to different values; both turn out to be surprisingly close to each other.
